404 Error

An HTTP status code of 404 indicates that the requested webpage could not be located on the server. When a user attempts to visit a URL that no longer exists, has been relocated, or has been deleted, the server returns a 404 Error, indicating that the requested page is not accessible. This can occur as a result of a misspelled URL, a broken link, or a page that has been deleted or renamed. Webmasters may personalize 404 Error pages to give users with useful information such as suggesting alternate pages, giving navigation links, or explaining the problem. It is critical to handle 404 Errors correctly in order to maintain a great user experience and search engine optimization (SEO).
