PageRank

PageRank is a Google algorithm that determines the value and relevance of webpages based on inbound connections. It assesses a webpage’s authority and popularity by taking into account the quantity and quality of other websites that link to it. Websites having a larger number of high-quality backlinks are judged more valuable and, as a result, rank higher in Google’s search results.
PageRank was a key feature in Google’s early search engine ranking system, but the algorithm has developed over time, and many other criteria are now taken into account when calculating search ranks. The notion of assessing webpages based on link authority, on the other hand, is a fundamental aspect of Google’s overall search algorithm and plays an important role in determining the visibility and organic traffic potential of webpages.
