Retargeting

Retargeting, also known as Remarketing, is a form of advertising that targets website visitors who did not complete a desired action, such as making a purchase or filling out a form. It entails displaying customized advertisements to these users as they browse other websites or platforms, in an effort to entice them to return to the original site and take the desired action.
Retargeting functions by placing a surveillance pixel or code on a website, which identifies users and enables advertisers to serve them relevant advertisements. This strategy seeks to re-engage potential consumers by reminding them of the products or services they previously expressed interest in and encouraging conversion. Retargeting can be a potent strategy for increasing conversion rates, maximizing ad efficiency, and boosting overall marketing results by concentrating on users with demonstrated interest.
