SaaS

Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) is a software delivery paradigm in which programs are delivered to consumers through the internet on a subscription basis. In contrast to traditional software, which requires installation and maintenance on individual devices, SaaS applications are hosted in the cloud by the service provider.
SaaS apps may be accessed via web browsers, removing the requirement for local installs and allowing for seamless upgrades and maintenance. This approach provides flexibility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness since customers may pay for software on a monthly or annual basis without incurring large upfront costs. SaaS has grown in popularity among enterprises and consumers alike, allowing easy access to a diverse set of software tools and applications without the complexity of conventional program maintenance.
